Brittany Broughal, LMFT
After earning her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Fairfield University, Brittany became dually licensed in the state of New York and Connecticut. Having applied her specialty in systemic analysis to the treatment of eating disorders, Brittany has worked with adolescents and adults within residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient settings. Brittany utilizes a shame resilience approach and aims to bring warmth, insight and skills to each individual session. She also enjoys coaching her clients’ loved ones around supporting their journey in recovery.
While working in private practice, Brittany began to recognize that our relationship with food often mirrors our soul’s experience in life. This led to furthering her education at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, where she obtained her certification as an Eating Psychology Coach.
